I’m excited this morning. Darren approached me about doing regular writing over at his site. Darren and I think a lot alike and that’s only become more apparent as I’ve gotten to know him these past 4 or 5 months. But we approach blogging in very different ways.
His approach is as earning direct income from his blog - monetizing his sites, instructing on ways to make the blog the main source of income. I, on the other hand, believe in the blog as an indirect source of income — a place to build reputation, to earn recognition, to propel into other areas of life, employment or relationships. In other words, we’re exactly alike but direct opposites. Get it? :-)
As of this morning, my first entry - How to: Placing Adsense Strategically Between Posts - is up at Problogger. I’m looking forward to bringing some of my technical expertise and intimate knowledge of WordPress to bear for other bloggers looking to leverage the blog as an income source.
