This is not the proliferation I’ve been talking about but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile. I’ve decided to take a foray into podcasting. A little bit of an experiment to see how well recieved it will be.
Podcasting, for those who don’t know, is an audio “broadcast”. In it’s simplest form it is usually an MP3 (mine is) and can be downloaded and listened to as any other MP3 on your computer. For those with iPods, etc, Podcasts can be automatically downloaded to the iPod by subscribing to the Podcast RSS feed.
You’ll be able to do both here.
A couple things need to be improved (as I’ve found from my initial experience). I need a new mic for one. This one crackles a bit and is a tad distracting. I also have found that I need to work on the overall sound quality. Though the cast is completely understandable and audible, I need to reduce the bass, bring up the highs and the mids and balance the thing out a bit. But it was a fun first go. Good enough that’m posting it here.
So enjoy my first posdcast. This first one is really focusing on some of my recent posts and putting into wrds some of my thoughts I didn’t put in the blog. I will branch out and talk about more as I get more comfortable with the medium.
