Network+ Achieved

by Aaron Brazell on April 6, 2005 · 14 comments

It’s sort of a moot point since I’ve been handling network issues for well over a year and a half, but it was time to put some paper behind my skills and take the Network+ Certification Exam. On a scale of 100 to 900 with a passing score being 646, I passed this evening with a 726. w00t!

Now I can proudly display this logo (Not that I will)…

Well I don’t know many that run out for the CompTIA certs, but I do want to tell ya Congrats! :)

I am starting my re-ed-j00-muh-kay-shun this fall for my CCNA, and then my BA in Net Sec…..who knows, after I’m done I’ll land a cushy gov’t job out in Baltimore so I can terrorize my favorite technosailor LOL

David,

I didn’t really want the Net+ but it was a matter of efficiency. It also applies to the MCSA which would be useful in my job, despite my hatred of Microsoft. I’m only a stone’s throw from that now.

Sean, of course.

oh and David… if you want a cushy government job, stay out of I.T. ;) You make more money in the private sector and all the federal I.T. jobs here are outsourced to private companies. ;)

Sir, Congratulations Sir…

Does this now mean that you’re qualified??? I thought you were good before… Add this certification to your loyalty to the Red Sucks and I will buy you a cup of coffee…

Problem is, David, In Baltimore there’s neither lots of jobs or lots of bloggers. :)
