Keyring

I was reading Matt Mullenweg’s Keys entry, which got me thinking about how many keys and keyrings I have and how many I really need.

My comment on Matt’s blog was:

I have a keyring that has about 12 keys on it. 10 I have no idea what they are for� LOL

Then I have my keyring with my car key and house keys. Thats the only keyring I use anymore� hmmm

      Three keys. Car, house, and safe deposit box. Nothing's actually in the safe deposit box, but it seems cool to have one.

      I have 5 - my house, car, parent's house, I think my parent's back door, and my steering weel bar that I never use.

      i have 7 - well, if you count the remote car door opener than i have 8, and if you count the fob to get into my bldg i have 9 - car, remote, fob for bldg, apt door, mailbox, bike chain lock, 2 that i have no clue what they are for, bottle opener, and 5 of those keychain cards (only two of which i use)...



      i also carry the keys to my mother's house on a separate key ring... way to many keys that i have no idea what they are for...

      As with most of what I have (finances, computers, personas...) I have two sets: one for work, one for home. My home set has 9 and a keyfob. My work set has 6. Don't even get into the subject of work-related "prox-cards"!!
