Last week, much to my surprise, I recieved an XBOX via UPS. It was delivered to my door. When I thanked the people responsible for the gift, I was informed that there was an extra controller and a game coming as a separate package. Needless to say I was excited but in the interim, I had no games to play. I rented Wolverine’s Revenge, but that sucked.
I finally got the nitty gritty on tracking information today – a full week after I recieved the XBOX.
According to the Post Office, the second package was delivered on July 28thy to my house. What gives? I never recieved it! I recieved the UPS package just fine on the same day. How did the Post Office deliver the second package when they never delivered it…
So I called the post office who is looking into this issue. But we all know how that goes.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Brazell. The carrier insists he delivered the package. We have no reason to believe any differently. After all, thae computer says it was delivered. It must have been delivered and you accidentally threw away the entire box. Or maybe you were just stupid and didn’t realize that the box at your door was for you and not for the trash. Yeah, Mr. Brazell… That’s it, you must be stupid.”
More to come.
