An issue that has always inspired me is leadership. Leadership is earned, not given. Isn’t that how the old saying goes? Over at Emmense, I use the tagline “Helping you Lead”. It’s inspiring to watch good leadership be great.
That’s why Leadership Turn, written by Michelle Riley is an excellent find. From management to political courage, Michelle tackles some real world management problems and applies some common sense thinking. Example: Is Your Boss Programmed to be a Dictator?

In theory, leadership may be earned.
To me, its admirable when leadership is recognized by qualities that inspire people or compel achievement.
However, stories where leadership is encroached upon, seized or wrongfully denied, exist as well. As such, Its good to remember that whomever exerts power isn’t always worthy of that position.
